Dr. Madhuri Hedge, PhD, FACMG, Executive Director of Emory University’s Genetics Laboratory, announced the construction of a new lab that will be located in the CID on Mountain Industrial Boulevard.
“We are very excited about this new laboratory, as we are very overcrowded currently, and this will start out as doubling our current space, and eventually we will add to that,” Dr. Hedge said.
Emory’s Department of Human Genetics is committed to translating major research discoveries quickly into patient care, and it is home to the largest Down syndrome research initiative in the United States. Look for more information about the new facility soon.
