As of July 1, business license applications are available for download on the City of Tucker’s website – Tuckerga.gov – as well as in person at City Hall (4119 Adrian Street). Business owners wishing to apply for a commercial business license must bring necessary documentation to be considered.

“We look forward to taking our next step in making Tucker a fully functioning city,” said Mayor Frank Auman. “And issuing business licenses will bring us one step closer to our goal.”

Businesses that have already been licensed by DeKalb County are considered licensed and do not need to apply for a City of Tucker business license. Tucker will use DeKalb’s licensing fee schedule until it adopts one of its own.

Voters approved a ballot referendum in November 2015 to incorporate Tucker, as DeKalb’s newest city. A team from CH2M team is currently managing the city’s administration, finance and community development departments. CH2M will also perform code enforcement, planning and zoning, and building permitting and inspections, as well as administrative services, including revenue collection, financial support and general staff support.
