Macauley Investments finalized the purchase of the former Sears property at the corner of Mountain Industrial Boulevard and Hugh Howell Road. Additionally, the DeKalb County School System has agreed to purchase 12 acres on which they will locate a replacement for the Smoke Rise Elementary school.
